Rastros de posmodernidad en las antimemorias de Alfredo Bryce Echenique

Abstract

El presente artículo es una aproximación a las antimemorias de Alfredo Bryce Echenique a partir de la vinculación de dicha obra con ciertas nociones y poéticas atribuidas al problemático concepto de posmodernidad. El desglose del tema se lleva a cabo con base en dos ejes textuales: 1) los aspectos estructurales: el epíteto antimemorias y el orden fragmentario (en apariencia caótico) de la configuración autobiográfica; y 2) los aspectos semánticos, retóricos y políticos: el juego ficción-realidad, la construcción irónico-humorística de la autobiografía y la posición escéptica frente al poder.

This article is an interpretation to Alfredo Bryce Echenique’s antimemorias by linking said work to certain notions and poetics that are attributed to the problematic concept of postmodernity. The subject is developed on the basis of two textual axes: 1) Structural aspects: the epithet antimemorias and the fragmentary order (apparently chaotic) of the autobiographical configuration; and 2) The semantic, rhetorical and political aspects: the play between fiction and reality, the ironic, humoristic construction of the autobiography and the skeptical position before power.
