Rubén Darío y dos publicaciones modernistas de entre siglos

Abstract

Rubén Darío was director of the Revista de América (Buenos Aires, 1894) and the Mundial Magazine (Paris, 1911-1914), representative of the beginning and end, respectively, of literary modernism. Despite the years separating one magazine from the other, this paper claims that both are driven by a single cultural project, the starting point of which is to establish the forms of professionalization, consecration and formation of groups that basically seek to impose and disseminate their aesthetic ideas within the Spanish-speaking world on both sides of the Atlantic.
