| Resumen : | El tema que más ha identificado la vasta producción cultural de Leopoldo Zea es el análisis del estrecho vínculo entre la cultura latinoamericana y el mundo occidental. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar, a través de la filosofía de Zea, en qué modo la cultura occidental ha influido en la latinoamericana, y en qué medida esta última ha conformado sus propias características. Según el pensador mexicano, los americanos deben participar en la cultura occidental, no a través de una simple e improductiva imitación, sino proponiendo temáticas que sean expresión tangible de su historia y de su mundo. |
| Abstract : | The issue that most identified Leopoldo Zea’s large cultural output is the analysis of the link between Latin American culture and the Western world. The aim of this study is to analyze, through the philosophy of Zea, how the Western culture has influenced the Latin American, how and in what extent the latter has its own characteristics. The idea of the Mexican specialist is that the Americans should participate in the Western culture, not through a simple and unproductive imitation, but proposing matters as a tangible expression of their history and their world. |
