Crisis generalizada y guerra simbólica en Perú, 1930-1945

Abstract

Entre 1930 y 1945 en el país andino se produjo una abierta guerra política y cultural entre las masas apristas movilizadas y el civil militarismo represivo. En el ámbito simbólico, el tradicionalismo criollo-hispanista procuró resistir las innovaciones estéticas que daban cuenta del país real y abrían puertas al futuro.

Between 1930 and 1945, an open political and cultural war ensued in the Andean country between the mobilized Aprista masses and repressive civic militarism. In the symbolic arena, Hispanic-tendency Criollo traditionalism tried to resist aesthetic innovations that revealed the real country and opened doors to the future.
